- Despite having refused a drink in The War Machines (TV story) because he doesn't drink alcohol, The Doctor accepts and identifies a Madeira in the second episode, while on board the Black Albatross. NEW ADDITION BY OTHER AUTHOR: The Doctor states that he does not drink alcohol in The Gunfighters. He does not refuse a drink in The War Machines. He is offered one, and offers no objection. And yes, he accepts a Sherry Wine in The Smugglers. And what on Earth is all this bunkum about, hmm? "TEXT IN ALL CAPS (sic) is often read as shouting by other users. Please find a more net(sic)-friendly way to add emphasis..." I'm not adding emphasis, I'm separating my addition from the previous entry - END!
