Duplication of effort[[edit source]]
Is there any purpose this page fulfils that isn't also fulfilled by the combination of the Fourth Doctor and Time Lords timelines? If necessary, they could even have stories featuring Romana marked, but this page seems unnecessary to me, and likely to end up with avoidable discrepancies compared to the other pages. That's why I merged the Henry Gordon Jago and George Litefoot pages as well; there's only one time one appeared without the other. Fwhiffahder ☎ 21:21, July 22, 2016 (UTC)
- Actually, Romana has quite a number of audio stories that don't feature a Doctor, so unlike the case with J&G, who mostly appear together, I think this page is justified. Shambala108 ☎ 23:01, July 22, 2016 (UTC)
- I didn't say there weren't Romana stories without the Doctor. All her non-Doctor stories already go on the Time Lords timeline page, and her timeline had always been synchronous with Gallifrey's. Fwhiffahder ☎ 00:09, July 23, 2016 (UTC)
- Considering that most of these timeline pages are for individuals rather than species, and we have a separate page for the Rani, who to date has fewer appearances than Romana, I see no reason to get rid of Romana's page. - Don't know where you're getting that from. I said nothing of the kind. You said having both a Romana page and a Time Lord page could cause duplication of effort. All I said was that I think the Romana page deserves to stay, and if you have to get rid of one of the two pages, I'd pick the Time Lord one.
- If the Valyard, the Rani, and Iris (other Time Lords) each have a page, then Romana deserves one as well.
- If River, Jack, Mickey, Sarah, Benny, J&G, and the Brig (other companions) each have a page, then Romana deserves one as well. Shambala108 ☎ 01:47, July 23, 2016 (UTC)
