- Throughout its long history, the UK version of This Is Your Life was alternately broadcast on BBC tv (BBC1) and ITV (ITV1).
- Third Doctor actor Jon Pertwee was the guest of This Is Your Life, broadcast on 14 April 1971.
- Fifth Doctor actor Peter Davison was the guest of This Is Your Life, broadcast on 25 March 1982.
- Fourth Doctor actor Tom Baker was the guest of This Is Your Life, broadcast on 18 March 2000.
- Following the original American run from 1952 to 1961, the UK version of This Is Your Life ran as late as 2007, when Doctor Who: The Encyclopedia was published, with the New Zealand version going as late as 2011. Ironically, the Australian version, which at the time of publication had last aired in 2005, returned in 2008, 2011 and 2022.
