Although Time Agents have appeared in many aspects of the Doctor Who universe, with a mention of a particularly sexually-accomplished one bringing Jack Harkness to mind, the copyright page of The Bloodletters specified that this was, in this instance, a reference to the Time Agents featured in Andre Norton's 1958 novel The Time Traders, not to their copyrighted Doctor Who namesakes.
