A time limpet was a Dalek weapon which erased its target from time.
At least one was left behind from the Dalek invasion of Earth in 200,100. Silo Crook, who mistook it for a land mine, almost fell victim to it in the following year, but was saved by Captain Jack Harkness. Retained and repurposed, they later used the time limpet aboard Trear Station to destroy security drones, taking part of the corridor with them. (AUDIO: The Year After I Died)
