The Timelash was a time corridor powered by kontron crystals. It was used by the Borad to banish rebels from Karfel to Scotland in 1179. The Timelash was capable of catching a TARDIS. The Sixth Doctor scavenged the technology to create a number of time-loop based devices to help in the uprising against the Borad's forces. The Borad was sent through the Timelash himself, which was then permanently shut down by the Sixth Doctor. (TV: Timelash)
