Toby Brokesmith was a journalist from The Pall Mall Gazette and an acquaintance of Henry Gordon Jago. On the normal Earth, Jago had last met him a couple of years ago but in the parallel Earth he had not met him since school. He was enticed by Mrs Bartholomew to join her. He duped Bartholomew. His body was taken over by Bartholomew's lord but he fought back. (AUDIO: Chapel of Night)
