In Earth-33⅓, Tom Baker played the Fourth Doctor in Doctor Who.

In 1974, he auditioned for the role and later got the part.
His casting led to all scripts being discarded and thrown out of the windows; as a Cyberman told confused Zygon who were both observing the spectacle outside the BBC Television Centre, "We don't need them anymore - Tom Baker's the new Doctor". John Nathan-Turner once congratulated Baker on nicely underplaying a scene. This was considered an "unlikely" event in the wider history of Doctor Who. (COMIC: Doctor Who? 203)
Nathan-Turner later informed him that the budget for one of his stories had been cut by upstairs, leading to Logopolis hurriedly being converted into Legopolis. After Nathan-Turner showed him the half-constructed LEGO set, Baker was visibly upset. (COMIC: Doctor Who? 185)
