Captain Tom Williams was the captain of the Earth Alliance cruiser The Demeter during the second half of the Cyberon War. He was a man of action and carried a modified laser pistol as a side-arm. While his vessel was transporting the head of Dracula from Alpha Centauri to a space station orbiting Mars for covert research, it was attacked by the Cyberons, who took Williams prisoner before he could activate the ship's self-destruct. He then bore witness to the resurrection of Dracula and his transformation into the new Cyber Controller. Dracula then killed him with his bare teeth to mark the start of the "New Cyberon Era".
