Tomek Bork (born 17 September 1952[1]) played Captain Sorin in the Doctor Who television story The Curse of Fenric.

Bork graduated from theatre college in Kraków in 1977. He appeared in a number of Polish TV series and films before first coming to the United Kingdom in 1978, unable to speak English. In 1980, he moved to the UK permanently to continue his career.

His films include The Unbearable Lightness of Being, Murder on the Moon and Tailspin: Behind the Korean Airliner Tragedy. He has appeared on The Bill, Love Hurts, Sleepers, Lovejoy, and Doctors. He has also continued to work in Poland, where he is most well known for playing the lead role in the TV drama series Dom ("House") which ran for seven series over twenty years.[2] Borkowy now lives in Edinburgh, Scotland where he runs a drama school and agency, while still working as an actor.
