Toraxian was an insect species which had a hive mind and were brought to Triketha by Tarlos. To the Sixth Doctor and Constance Clarke they looked like Hornets. Their venom allowed them to control people's mind and then convert the victims in themselves. (AUDIO:Colony of Fear)
