Torchwood One Research Unit

The Torchwood One Research Unit was built by Lizbeth Hayhoe as Head of Research. It was based in a draughty room in an old button factory overlooking a Chinese restaurant. The windows were broken in the Blitz and still not repaired years after World War II ended.
Circa 1951, Reginald Rigsby had the team reallocated across Torchwood, something that Lizbeth believes was probably down to the offer of a working radiator rather than dissatisfaction with their work. The unit's equipment was taken and Lizbeth accused Rigsby of having done so in order to steal Rogers and Clyde and their breakthrough, taking credit. (AUDIO: Parasite)
