Torchwood One had a holding facility, (TV: Children of Earth: Day Four [+]Loading...["Children of Earth: Day Four (TV story)"]) located in the borough of Wandsworth.[nb 1]

It was abandoned in the 1990s and decommissioned. It was later used as a base by Torchwood Three, along with Rhys Williams, when they investigated the 456. (TV: Children of Earth: Day Four [+]Loading...["Children of Earth: Day Four (TV story)"])

Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]

The screen places the facility close to the south-east corner of Wandsworth Park.

Footnotes[[edit] | [edit source]]

  1. The location of the City of Westminster on Mr Smith's map. (TV: Revenge of the Slitheen)
A screen appears in Children of Earth: Day Four [+]Loading...["Children of Earth: Day Four (TV story)"] which shows the location on the holding facility on a birds-eye view of London. When viewed in conjunction with the map from Revenge of the Slitheen [+]Loading...["Revenge of the Slitheen (TV story)"], the section of the River Thames which appears on the map align with that between Westminster and Kensington (on the north bank) and Wandsworth (on the south bank). This would place the holding facility in the borough of Wandsworth.
