DCI Treadwell was the SIO of the case involving the shooting of Sanjit and Liv Chenka. He was sceptical of the Eighth Doctor's claim of being a genius and was irritated by his constant attempts at involving himself in the case but, after the robber was caught, he thanked him for catching a mugger.
