In the early 2020s, a US submarine went missing in the Indian Ocean. The submarine crew was infected by the Praxeus, brought to Earth by an alien spacecraft. The submarine captain tried to raise the sub to avoid the infection, but it was too late. One of the naval officers, Zach Olson, was washed up on Madagascan beach.
The submarine was later found by Yasmin Khan and Gabriela Camara at the bottom of the Indian Ocean. (TV: Praxeus)
