From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

For as long as I've been registered here, I haven't edited this page to provide information on myself because so much is available via your favorite search engine. Today, April 17, 2014, I discovered that someone from here visited my blog by clicking on "my website" button on my Talk page. This is what changed my mind about posting something on this page.

I am a person who was first introduced to Doctor Who by Douglas Adams' work as broadcast by the BBC World Service. I've been, first and foremost, a shortwave radio enthusiast, and that's why this happened that way. I became familiar with Doctor Who when Tom Baker was portraying the Doctor, and as of 2010 registered for an account with Tom's forum website. A nasty debate over religion ensued quite some time after that, and I removed the entirety of my posted content including my Signature, which, for all time and everywhere online, reads: "I shall continue to be an impossible person so long as those who are now possible remain possible". I have maintained that motto for the entire time I've been online, even prior to the invention of the Internet when computers were networked using the telephone line at 300 BAUD and the primary network was FIDO net. I was also on various other BBS (bulletin board service) networks such as RIME, WWIV, U'NI, and so forth, and with that signature.

So basically, just as I have claimed in Talk, I am, in fact the original Impossible Person Clara. The words in that motto are those of Mikhail Bakunin, and you can use your favorite search engine to verify that.

It's the exact same signature I used while I was active on Tom Baker's website. It is the exact same signature I used while I was active on Doctor Who Online, well before Clara Oswald was a twinkle in Moffat's eye.

By trade I am an electronics technician who worked for a company that was in the process of paying for my engineering degree, but bit the dust before I could complete the work. I remain interested in the sciences, and that includes the science of time travel--and the people from this website who visited my website would have seen that expounded in detail--so, by this they can verify that I myself have become a time traveler AND I also teach TARDIS navigation, just as I have stated in Talk. On my site I have explained how I came to know the Doctor's name and have even explained the origins of its meaning, and that it has several connotative meanings, especially when translated into English.

I have explained the time travel algorithm components from which the Doctor's name is derived and how they're used in TARDIS navigation. How do I know it works? Well, I've been a regular at Chautauqua performances--that's where highly educated scholars portray a particular character from some part of history and encourage questions from the audience, both in-character and as the scholar, and over the timespan that I've attended those, I became rather infamous for asking questions that even the doctorates among them couldn't answer. I have an established track record of bedeviling historians for knowing stuff they hadn't even bothered to consider in their claimed areas of expertise.

My track record as a time traveler is established. I have full factual basis for making the claim that I am the original time-travelling Impossible Person Clara. I have been doing this for a long, long time (in terms of this point in time, in this universe).

The people from here who have visited my blog will also have discovered that I'm a fabulous chef, and that souffles are only a small part of my kitchen repertoire.
