Big Ron was a resident of Albert Square in London, and a friend of the Seventh Doctor.

Little is known about Big Ron's life prior to the events of Dimensions in Time, but it can be assumed that he lived in or near Albert Square.
Big Ron was among the many inhabitants of Albert Square who were abducted by the Rani and placed inside a time loop. He was eventually rescued by the Doctor and his companion Ace.

Big Ron was played by actor Ron Tarr, who also played the character of Trevor on the BBC soap opera EastEnders.
