Darwinian delights/Can't edit on iPad

The visual editor does not work with iPad and the "improved" source editor option doesn't either. The keyboard won't trigger so I can't add any copy. Strangely, however, there is no issue with talk pages or boards like this. I did confirm the pages I tried weren't locked. One was The Birthday Boy (comic story).
