While this new search is in operation, there will be no search engine on the site that can access special pages. Note that I say access. It won't even work for you to put the correct name of a special page into any search bar. So if you type, say, Special:WhatLinksHere into a search bar, all you'll get is a whole lotta nothing. Despite the fact that it is obviously the correct name.
Admin have easy access to special pages through the Details tab of the AdminDashboard, but ordinary users don't.
Luckily there are some workarounds.
- You can click here.
- You can create a browser bookmark to http://tardis.wikia.com/wiki/Special:SpecialPages
- You can create a link in your MyTools bar at the bottom of the page, by clicking on "Customise" then typing "Special" into the "Find a Tool" pane on the right. That will allow you to click on "Special Pages", and that link will then be permanently available in your MyTools bar.
