Two further analogies:
- The policy regarding married names. There too a person chooses to change the name. According to the current policy, such characters "do not generally have their articles renamed". To me, the decision of Ashildr to change her name to Me is of a similar nature but for a different reason.
- There is another character who consistently corrects everyone not to use his old name, the War Doctor. Given that the "Doctor" is itself likely a chosen, not given name, it would be even more natural to switch from one chosen name to another when the new choice of name is clearly stated. When pressed for a name, the War Doctor at some point defaults to "John Smith." But his page is not renamed according to his wishes even though I am not sure he is actually called the "War Doctor" in-universe.
