Welcome to the Tardis:About ADarthTokuDalek

Thanks for your edits! We hope you'll keep on editing with us. This is a great time to have joined us, because now you can play the Game of Rassilon with us and win cool stuff! Well, okay, badges. That have no monetary value. And that largely only you can see. But still: they're cool!

We've got a couple of important quirks for a Wikia wiki, so let's get them out of the way first.
British English, please
We generally use British English round these parts, so if you're American, please be sure you set your spell checker to BrEng, and take a gander at our spelling cheat card.
Spoilers aren't cool
We have a strict definition of "spoiler" that you may find a bit unusual. Basically, a spoiler, to us, is anything that comes from a story which has not been released yet. So, even if you've got some info from a BBC press release or official trailer, it basically can't be referenced here. In other words, you gotta wait until the episode has finished its premiere broadcast to start editing about its contents. Please check the spoiler policy for more details.
Other useful stuff
Aside from those two things, we also have some pages that you should probably read when you get a chance, like:

If you're brand new to wiki editing — and we all were, once! —  you probably want to check out these tutorials at Wikipedia, the world's largest wiki:

Remember that you should always sign your comments on talk and vote pages using four tildes like this:

Thanks for becoming a member of the TARDIS crew! If you have any questions, see the Help pages, add a question to one of the Forums or ask on my talk page. CzechOut 16:11, July 14, 2018 (UTC)

Reversions[[edit source]]

A lot of the appearances you are adding just don't count as appearances on this wiki. Note that in your recent round of edits, all of them have previously been undone by an admin. I can't find an exact policy right now on the matter so I suggest you ask either User:Amorkuz or User:Shambala108 about it, two admins who have reverted your edits. --Borisashton 16:55, August 15, 2018 (UTC)

Let's talk[[edit source]]

Hi. You asked me a question. I am an admin. Let me try to answer it. But first a couple of procedural points. Please sign your messages using ~~~~. Secondly, it was a very good idea to engage Borisashton and then me in a conversation. It is something I try to teach people to do: in case of a disagreement, talk to each other, don't just undo each other's edits. In particular, if an admin undoes your edits, don't try to push them through, ask why. I was very happy when you did ask, and was less happy when you did not wait for me to answer. So another procedural comment: you cannot expect people to answer you within an hour or a day, or, sometimes, even within a week. We study, work, have families. Sometimes we are on vacations, sometimes we are sick. If your question is not answered immediately, it is not a sign of you being ignored. One final comment, when you are having a dispute, the best place to have it is the talk page of the page in question, not the talk page of the editor you are arguing with. Leading a discussion on the talk page under dispute allows more people to participate in the debate, not just the two editors disagreeing with each other.

Now, let's concentrate on something simple. Take the The Mind of Evil. You strongly insist that Cybermen from Mondas appeared there. Without prejudging, I would like to ask you why? Why do you think that Mondasian Cybermen appeared in this story? Could you elaborate on the circumstances of their appearance, please? As I said, the best place to do that would be at Talk:Cybermen (Mondas) - list of appearances. I promise to meet you there, but do not promise to do it instantaneously. Re: Crossed Lines[[edit source]]

Hi, I looked at the page history, and you had removed all content, then User:OncomingStorm12th put up the delete tag. That made the page an obvious candidate for deletion. If you have any information about the page, put it on the talk page, but please note that you cannot link to an off-site video, nor can you upload the video. See Tardis:Video policy for the relevant policy and correct procedure. Thanks, Shambala108 02:27, September 2, 2018 (UTC)

Lists of appearances[[edit source]]

Hi, please stop adding items to list of appearances pages. We do not count certain things as appearances; that's why they aren't on the pages. Several users have already undone your edits.

If you have any questions, you can ask any admin (see Tardis:Administrators for a list of admins). Shambala108 23:42, September 15, 2018 (UTC)
