From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference
Welcome to the Tardis:About Chathamkidsmagazine

Thanks for your edits! We hope you'll keep on editing with us. This is a great time to have joined us, because now you can play the Game of Rassilon with us and win cool stuff! Well, okay, badges. That have no monetary value. And that largely only you can see. But still: they're cool!

We've got a couple of important quirks for a Wikia wiki, so let's get them out of the way first.
British English, please
We generally use British English round these parts, so if you're American, please be sure you set your spell checker to BrEng, and take a gander at our spelling cheat card.
Spoilers aren't cool
We have a strict definition of "spoiler" that you may find a bit unusual. Basically, a spoiler, to us, is anything that comes from a story which has not been released yet. So, even if you've got some info from a BBC press release or official trailer, it basically can't be referenced here. In other words, you gotta wait until the episode has finished its premiere broadcast to start editing about its contents. Please check the spoiler policy for more details.
Other useful stuff
Aside from those two things, we also have some pages that you should probably read when you get a chance, like:

If you're brand new to wiki editing — and we all were, once! —  you probably want to check out these tutorials at Wikipedia, the world's largest wiki:

Remember that you should always sign your comments on talk and vote pages using four tildes like this:

Thanks for becoming a member of the TARDIS crew! If you have any questions, see the Help pages, add a question to one of the Forums or ask on my talk page. Revanvolatrelundar 12:27, August 26, 2014 (UTC)

Spoilers[[edit source]]

Hi! Please stop editing and immediately read Tardis:Spoiler policy. You have made several edits that violate our spoiler policy (which is posted several places on the wiki). Your edits have been reverted back to the pre-spoiler versions. Thanks. Shambala108 16:01, August 26, 2014 (UTC)

Block[[edit source]]

Hi! Unfortunately, I have had to block you for a day. This is not, however, a punishment, but rather a chance for you to cool down a bit. I appreciate your enthusiasm for DW and this wiki, but I (and others) have had to do a lot of cleaning up after your edits today, when there are other things we could/should be doing. So for the rest of the day, I suggest you browse the wiki, taking a look at all the kinds of articles we have (real world, story, character, actor, etc). In addition, please read through the following policies, which will help in your editing here:

I know it looks like a lot, but these are some of the more important guidelines to editing/creating articles on the wiki, and help to keep the wiki looking like a real encyclopedia. Thanks for your patience! Shambala108 16:43, August 26, 2014 (UTC)

Policy reminders[[edit source]]

I appreciate your recent edits and new articles, but I would just like to remind you of some of our wiki's policies.

I see that you've already gotten warned by an admin, and it's really important that you read and understand these policies to keep editing here. P&P talk contribs 00:47, August 28, 2014 (UTC)

Pointers[[edit source]]

Thank you for your recent contributions, particularly the pages you have created. However, if you could remember to categorise pages when you do create them and to put the titles of TV episodes, comics, games etc. in italics, that would be even better and make it unnecessary for a clean up crew to follow you about the site. Other users have posted links to pages on the policies I have mentioned, so you can find them above.--Skittles the hog - talk 19:18, September 1, 2014 (UTC)

Edits[[edit source]]

I'm sorry, but your edits are still causing a lot of cleanup by other editors. It's not fair to make other editors clean up after your work, because they have other things they'd rather work on instead of cleanup. Please read the policies already quoted on this page, and also read the following:

These last four apply specifically to your edit at Crazy Little Thing Called Love, where you attributed it to Queen, even though the episode in question never mentions them.

It would be a good idea at this point for you to visit Tardis:Tardis Manual and look over our other policies as well. Please leave a message on my talk page so I know you've been getting these messages. Thanks. Shambala108 14:11, October 12, 2014 (UTC)

Video policy[[edit source]]

Unfortunately, I have to block you for a week. It like that you are not reading our policy pages. You uploaded a video to the wiki, which is a violation of Tardis:Video policy. Only admins can upload videos. When your block expires, you can recommend videos for upload at Tardis:Video recommendations. In the meantime, please take this week to read through all of the policies quoted on your talk page. Thanks. Shambala108 22:58, October 12, 2014 (UTC)

Block[[edit source]]

Hi! I am blocking you for a month for violating Tardis:Spoiler policy at DWM 480 and Michelle Gomez. If you had read the policies quoted above, you would know better. Please read through these policies, as you have been asked several times. Thanks. Shambala108 16:52, November 28, 2014 (UTC)
