From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference
Welcome to the Tardis:About Conorb59

Thanks for your edits! We hope you'll keep on editing with us. This is a great time to have joined us, because now you can play the Game of Rassilon with us and win cool stuff! Well, okay, badges. That have no monetary value. And that largely only you can see. But still: they're cool!

We've got a couple of important quirks for a Wikia wiki, so let's get them out of the way first.
British English, please
We generally use British English round these parts, so if you're American, please be sure you set your spell checker to BrEng, and take a gander at our spelling cheat card.
Spoilers aren't cool
We have a strict definition of "spoiler" that you may find a bit unusual. Basically, a spoiler, to us, is anything that comes from a story which has not been released yet. So, even if you've got some info from a BBC press release or official trailer, it basically can't be referenced here. In other words, you gotta wait until the episode has finished its premiere broadcast to start editing about its contents. Please check the spoiler policy for more details.
Other useful stuff
Aside from those two things, we also have some pages that you should probably read when you get a chance, like:

If you're brand new to wiki editing — and we all were, once! —  you probably want to check out these tutorials at Wikipedia, the world's largest wiki:

Remember that you should always sign your comments on talk and vote pages using four tildes like this:

Thanks for becoming a member of the TARDIS crew! If you have any questions, see the Help pages, add a question to one of the Forums or ask on my talk page. 23skidoo 02:59, July 20, 2019 (UTC)

Some basic polciesedit source

Hi please make yourself familiar with Tardis:Italics and Tardis:Citation. Thanks Shambala108 02:26, July 25, 2019 (UTC)

Please read Thread:123048 to learn when not to pipe switch thanks Shambala108 01:19, August 1, 2019 (UTC)

Admin editsedit source

Hi please note that if you have a question about an admin edit, it's best to ask the admin on their talk page or the article talk page. Since you are a new user here, it's not a good idea to just revert an admin edit.

The information I removed at Paul Wilmshurst was for at least two reasons:

 • The infobox asks for notable non-DWU works. The definition of notable can differ from person to person, but if it's not important enough to be in the body of the article, I don't consider it notable.
 • On this wiki we don't want infoboxes that are more than a couple of lines longer than the text of the article. Infoboxes are not for filling out every field with as much information as possible; they are just for small bits of information to interest a reader. If the infobox is too long, some information can and will be removed.

Month editsedit source

Hi, I see you've been adding the season each month is in the Southern hemisphere to each month page, but you haven't provided a source. All edits of in-universe articles need sources, no matter how obvious the information may seem. Danochy 05:53, September 9, 2019 (UTC)

Season/series pagesedit source

Hi please stop editing season/series pages. For the most part, they have had all they can have added, and your edits seem to be a random removing or adding of information.

In addition, please read Tardis:Game of Rassilon rules. Almost all of your edits are from Game of Rassilon pages. Editing pages under the Game of Rassilon solely for the purpose of getting points is against the rules. Thanks Shambala108 00:45, September 28, 2019 (UTC)

Okay I don't understand this, how can televised serials when no one dies or the longest televised serial in the show's run NOT be notable, but a companion being turned into a doll (a lot of the companions get turned into things) actually BE.--Conorb59 03:26, September 28, 2019 (UTC)

Hi when an admin tells you to stop editing certain types of pages, you listen or you risk getting blocked. Once again, I tell you to stop editing season/series pages. Thanks Shambala108 02:40, September 29, 2019 (UTC)

Those times I just added links to pages, making them like all the other season pages. That can be considered bullying.--Conorb59 02:42, September 29, 2019 (UTC)

Hi, you've already been blocked once for ignoring admin instructions. Do not edit any season/series pages. Thanks Shambala108 23:22, October 2, 2019 (UTC)

Hi, there is something you need to understand about this wiki. We have 55 years of material and tens of thousands of articles. It is the admins' job to enforce policy and clean up after editors. Sometimes it becomes necessary to request a user stop editing in a certain way. Your edits to series pages were obviously made only to earn badges, because you chose to remove some information and add other information with no real pattern. I didn't tell you to stop editing on the wiki; I merely told you to stop editing season/series pages. Most of those pages are old and don't really need much more editing anyway. In addition, I have pointed you to certain policies you must follow when you edit (in the first post on this page), but you still edit without following those (and other) policies.
More importantly, before you make any more edits on this wiki, you must read Tardis:No personal attacks. You are not allowed to engage in what we call a personal attack just because you don't like what you've been told. You have called my instructions bullying, but I've been patient in cleaning up after you (and I'm not the only one), and the block I gave you for ignoring instructions was very short. Thanks for your attention Shambala108 04:00, October 3, 2019 (UTC)

Story pagesedit source

Hi please stop adding information to the story notes sections of story pages that is already on the page. Shambala108 03:12, November 12, 2019 (UTC)

Referencesedit source

Hi I know you are getting as tired of hearing from me as I am of explaining policy to you, but...

When you add information with an off-site reference, you must add the reflist template with a footnotes heading like this:

Footnotes
Reflist

Some pages already have it, but the ones that don't, either User:LauraBatham kindly cleans up after you, or I just delete it, because otherwise you won't even notice. Before you add any more items like this, please search through several articles on the wiki to learn how we do it. Shambala108 01:52, December 14, 2019 (UTC)
