From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference
Welcome to the Tardis:About Craig Winder

Thanks for your edits! We hope you'll keep on editing with us. This is a great time to have joined us, because now you can play the Game of Rassilon with us and win cool stuff! Well, okay, badges. That have no monetary value. And that largely only you can see. But still: they're cool!

We've got a couple of important quirks for a Wikia wiki, so let's get them out of the way first.
British English, please
We generally use British English round these parts, so if you're American, please be sure you set your spell checker to BrEng, and take a gander at our spelling cheat card.
Spoilers aren't cool
We have a strict definition of "spoiler" that you may find a bit unusual. Basically, a spoiler, to us, is anything that comes from a story which has not been released yet. So, even if you've got some info from a BBC press release or official trailer, it basically can't be referenced here. In other words, you gotta wait until the episode has finished its premiere broadcast to start editing about its contents. Please check the spoiler policy for more details.
Other useful stuff
Aside from those two things, we also have some pages that you should probably read when you get a chance, like:

If you're brand new to wiki editing — and we all were, once! —  you probably want to check out these tutorials at Wikipedia, the world's largest wiki:

Remember that you should always sign your comments on talk and vote pages using four tildes like this:

Rumors page deleted[[edit source]]

Hi, please note that we have a pretty strict policy regarding upcoming season pages. We only allow information for the upcoming series on the actual series page. In addition, we require all rumors to be properly sourced. Please see the following pages for the policies:

The page you created, "Doctor Who Series 11 rumours", has been deleted per policy. Thanks, Shambala108 01:38, May 21, 2018 (UTC)

Re: series 11[[edit source]]

Hi, I was going to point you to the policies in question, but most of them are already posted in my previous comment on your page. In addition, Talk:Series 11 (Doctor Who) also includes links to the policies that led to your posts being deleted.

We have very strict rules about what we allow as sources. IMDB and other fan-edited sites are explicitly not allowed because anyone can post anything, and there's no guarantee that any of it is correct. We also do not allow any links to off-site videos on any pages. Please see Tardis:Video policy for more information on that policy.

As for your perception that only your edits are being reverted, it's just not true. If you look at the page history of Series 11 (Doctor Who 2005) (or for that matter, any of the recent series pages), you'll see that many new editors have their edits removed because they are not familiar with policy. I personally don't follow the TV series, so I trust and rely on a couple of non-admin editors who are both familiar with our policies and follow the news made about the new series. In general, when they remove information, I can be pretty sure they are correct in doing so.

Please note that if you have a question about an edit to the Series 11 (Doctor Who 2005) page and you want to bring it up for discussion at Talk:Series 11 (Doctor Who) or an admin's talk page, be careful not to post spoilers in your comments. As stated in multiple places on the wiki, spoilers for series 11 are only allowed on the Series 11 (Doctor Who 2005) page, not its talk page and not any other pages. See Tardis:Spoiler policy for more information on our very strict spoiler policy.
