From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference
Welcome to the Tardis:About ElectricFire 169

Thanks for your edits! We hope you'll keep on editing with us. This is a great time to have joined us, because now you can play the Game of Rassilon with us and win cool stuff! Well, okay, badges. That have no monetary value. And that largely only you can see. But still: they're cool!

We've got a couple of important quirks for a Wikia wiki, so let's get them out of the way first.
British English, please
We generally use British English round these parts, so if you're American, please be sure you set your spell checker to BrEng, and take a gander at our spelling cheat card.
Spoilers aren't cool
We have a strict definition of "spoiler" that you may find a bit unusual. Basically, a spoiler, to us, is anything that comes from a story which has not been released yet. So, even if you've got some info from a BBC press release or official trailer, it basically can't be referenced here. In other words, you gotta wait until the episode has finished its premiere broadcast to start editing about its contents. Please check the spoiler policy for more details.
Other useful stuff
Aside from those two things, we also have some pages that you should probably read when you get a chance, like:

If you're brand new to wiki editing — and we all were, once! —  you probably want to check out these tutorials at Wikipedia, the world's largest wiki:

Remember that you should always sign your comments on talk and vote pages using four tildes like this:

Thanks for becoming a member of the TARDIS crew! If you have any questions, see the Help pages, add a question to one of the Forums or ask on my talk page. Doug86 12:43, August 4, 2015 (UTC)

Images[[edit source]]

Hi, please add a license to the images you uploaded for your forum post question. Images without licenses are usually deleted without question, but since you added yours as part of a forum question, I'm giving you a chance to add the license. If you don't add a license, they will have to be deleted. Thanks, Shambala108 22:51, November 11, 2017 (UTC)

Talk pages[[edit source]]

Hi, please note that article talk pages are for discussing the editing of articles. If you want to generally comment on things, please use the discussion boards. You can find a link for them at the top of any page, using the "Discuss" button. Thanks, Shambala108 16:25, December 11, 2018 (UTC)

Videos[[edit source]]

Hello there. I just want to quickly point out to you that as policy currently stands, only the admins are allowed to upload videos to the wiki (we’re working on changing that via the Forums), which means that, currently, your upload of File:CHILDREN OF THE CIRCUS – BASED ON DOCTOR WHO’S THE GREATEST SHOW IN THE GALAXY BY STEPHEN WYATT is in violation of policy.

Further, as it is easy to lose track of what has and hasn’t been released, in relation to what we need to update and such on a page, while technically that policy now allows it since being changed, it would be preferable to not create pages on the more obscure releases (obscure releases being ones that aren’t as loudly announced as the likes of Doctor Who and Big Finish stuff) before their actual release dates have been met. Also in regards to how those kind of releases are prone to change release dates. :) Danniesen 14:41, 4 November 2023 (UTC)

Canonicity[[edit source]]

Hello. Regarding you recent addition to canonicity, can you please tell me where in Heart of TARDIS there is a reference made to canonicity? I've had a quick scan of a pdf of the book and I cannot see a reference to it.

Oh, I think I was thinking of the story occasionally bringing up 'continuity' as an in-universe concept. That's not the same thing as canonicity, is it? ElectricFire 169 09:31, 4 December 2023 (UTC)
