Unbounds[[edit source]]

Just so you know, Thread:207240 decided that all Doctor Who Unbound stories are considered valid on this wiki. CoT ? 00:36, May 13, 2017 (UTC) The why does the NOTVALID page list it as an example? (JMC Red Dwarf 18:22, May 13, 2017 (UTC))

Because it hasn't been updated yet. CoT ? 18:30, May 13, 2017 (UTC)
Updated. Thanks for pointing out. Amorkuz 18:44, May 13, 2017 (UTC)

Minor edits[[edit source]]

In addition, you label most of your edits as "minor", which does not really fit the definition of a minor edit (see Tardis:Edit summary). Changing the validity status of a story is certainly not a minor edit, independent of whether it is correct. Amorkuz 00:49, May 13, 2017 (UTC)

Blocked?[[edit source]]

Why can't I edit anything? JMC Red Dwarf 02:23, January 15, 2018 (UTC)

I don't see any block in the log. What page(s) have you tried to edit? Shambala108 02:26, January 15, 2018 (UTC)
Lake Silencio, Kovarian, Still point in time, and the The Power of Three (TV story) JMC Red Dwarf 02:28, January 15, 2018 (UTC)
I'm not sure what's going on, you might have to contact a person at the main wikia site. Shambala108 02:34, January 15, 2018 (UTC)
What does that mean? JMC Red Dwarf 02:34, January 15, 2018 (UTC)
At the very top of any page, you'll see a tab titled "wikis". Use the dropdown menu to click on "community central", then there should be a place for you to contact someone who can help you figure out what's going on.
Go to this page, [1] and once you're there, look at the sentence that ends "you can contact FANDOM staff directly here." Click on the word "here" which will take you to a form that you can use to ask for help. Shambala108 02:42, January 15, 2018 (UTC)

Edit summaries[[edit source]]

Hi, please note that even edit summaries are subject to Tardis:No personal attacks. Your edit summary, "When did I say he spoke? And did you even watch the episode? He clearly spoke to Adric", at The Doctor, specifically the part I put in bold, is a violation of the policy. Thanks, Shambala108 23:13, January 22, 2018 (UTC)

Sorry about that. JMC Red Dwarf 04:04, January 23, 2018 (UTC)

Adding videos[[edit source]]

Hey there. Just noticed you were wondering how to add videos on the wiki. There's a basic "how to" guide here for that. Thanks! Snivystorm 17:55, January 28, 2018 (UTC)

As an admin, I am forced to overrule Snivystorm here. By Tardis:Video policy, only admin are allowed to add videos. There are no exceptions. Instead, if you find a video you think should be added to the wiki, please use Tardis:Video recommendations to request it be added by an admin. Amorkuz 19:42, January 28, 2018 (UTC)
Ah, my mistake. I apologise. Snivystorm 19:45, January 28, 2018 (UTC)
Since I was the one first approached on this topic, I'll just add here that I've done a fix at Help:Related Videos to make it clear that all users are bound by Tardis:Video policy when it comes to uploading videos. Previously, the site (probably mistakenly) linked back to itself when trying to send users to the current policy. Shambala108 20:06, January 28, 2018 (UTC)
In that case, can you upload the video for me? JMC Red Dwarf 23:07, January 28, 2018 (UTC)
Sure. Let's also use this opportunity to test how it is done in a regular way. Why don't you submit a request using video recommendations, which all admin can see and fulfil (or sometimes explain why the video is not good)? Amorkuz 23:25, January 28, 2018 (UTC)

Invalid is much further than alternative[[edit source]]

That’s just plain wrong. Please remove the links you know about. As OttselSpy25 likes to say, DWU is really a multiverse. There’s plenty of evidence to support this. Parallel, alternative, and bottle universes have all been mentioned and visited, as were alternative timelines and other dimensions. These things are within DWU. So is the page Parallel universe. Thus, invalid stories cannot claim to be set in one. And anyways such a claim can only be based on a speculation, which are not allowed. So please remove the incorrect links. Amorkuz 08:11, February 7, 2018 (UTC)

Ok JMC Red Dwarf 08:12, February 7, 2018 (UTC)

redirects[[edit source]]

Hi, please note that it is not necessary to correct redirects. Thanks, Shambala108 05:09, March 4, 2018 (UTC)

Neutral point of view[[edit source]]

Hi, please note that the edit summary you left at Romana II, "destiny of the daleks info added (it's incredibility implausible that the Romana seen in Destiny of the Daleks was the TARDIS, so I've added a 'according to one account...but according to another account' sort of thing)", specifically the part I bolded, goes against Tardis:Neutral point of view. Please make sure that when you edit, you keep that policy in mind. Thanks, Shambala108 23:47, March 4, 2018 (UTC)

Indistinct thumbnail[[edit source]]

What exactly does "thumbnail of this image was too indistinct" mean? (JMC Red Dwarf 03:22, March 16, 2018 (UTC))

Images[[edit source]]

Well, "the thumbnail of this image was too indistinct" is pretty self-explanatory. Most viewers to the site never look at images beyond the thumbnail image available on article pages. If it's difficult to tell the subject of an image at that size, we delete it. You can see Tardis:Guide to images#Images must work as thumbnails for some examples.
