Tenth Doctor image[[edit source]]

Hi, actually the entirety of the message reads: "This picture may not be changed without community discussion, because it is the result of extensive community involvement at Talk:Tenth Doctor. It is not eligible for removal until 11 December 2012." (bold text mine)

All Doctor, companion, Master, and some other article pages require community discussion before changing for two reasons:

  1. If we just let everyone change what they want, that would lead to edit wars.
  2. Most new users have no idea how many image policies we have; many of them add images that violate one or more policies.

On that subject, the image you uploaded has been deleted for violating several policies:

  • All images require the proper license; yours had none.
  • We don't allow promotional images on in universe pages. We only allow screenshots.
  • Screenshots must be .jpg, not .png.
  • Images must be <100 kb.
  • We also have strict guidelines for infobox images of people. These can be found at Tardis:Guide to images.

If you wish to upload any more images or suggest an image for any article, you should read through our image policies first. You can find links to all of them at Thread:148148.

All right. I apologize. I barely use this wiki, so I don't really know how that stuff works.--Looperreallyreallysucks 20:45, October 4, 2018 (UTC)
