From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

Sandboxing[[edit source]]

Hi, noticed you have started writing a chronological listing for NuWho. We already have a chronological in-universe listing here; https://tardis.fandom.com/wiki/Theory:Timeline_-_Doctor_Who_universe/TV Such timelines should also be kept to the Theory index, just as an aside, and for working on notably incomplete pages you plan to incrementally create; you might find it more beneficial to create a Sandbox under your own namespace instead. Hope that all helps! And welcome to the Wiki! JDPManjoume 21:33, 28 February 2022 (UTC)

Hi! Thank you! I'm new to the Doctor Who wiki of course, and didn't know about Sandboxing! Is there a way to move my list in there? The chronological page at the moment is more story than clear watching list, which is what I was trying to write there.

I haven't been on fandom wiki for a long time, and even then only on the Skulduggery Pleasant pages. You're very good to message, thank you again. Finding my feet.

No problem at all :) Once you've created a sandbox, your best option is probably to just go to the page you've created, go into edit mode and copy the contents from there directly to your sandbox. Once you've saved it on your sandbox page, go back to the page you originally created and add a {'{delete}} (without the ' I've added) and that'll add a deletion notice letting the admins know that the page isn't needed on the main public space. They'll deal with it when they get the chance.
Oh, and for signing off talk page messages, you can use four ~ together in a block to create your 'signature' like I do.
It's a bit of a big web, but if you need more help, one of the best resources about would be Tardis:Help or alternatively asking an Admin on their talk page - they're all listed on Tardis:Administrators. And of course, no worries... yeah, wiki editing's quite a thing to get back 'into the groove of'. :) JDPManjoume 22:08, 28 February 2022 (UTC)
