We've got a couple of important quirks for a Wikia wiki, so let's get them out of the way first.
British English, please
We generally use British English round these parts, so if you're American, please be sure you set your spell checker to BrEng, and take a gander at our spelling cheat card.
Spoilers aren't cool
We have a strict definition of "spoiler" that you may find a bit unusual. Basically, a spoiler, to us, is anything that comes from a story which has not been released yet. So, even if you've got some info from a BBC press release or official trailer, it basically can't be referenced here. In other words, you gotta wait until the episode has finished its premiere broadcast to start editing about its contents. Please check the spoiler policy for more details.
Other useful stuff
Aside from those two things, we also have some pages that you should probably read when you get a chance, like:

Categories

Hi! I wanted to talk to you about your editing. You've added a lot of good material to some neglected areas of the wiki, but we have some category rules that you need to know before you continue.

First, it's a quirk of wiki editing that when you type something like [[Category:Twentieth Doctor]], it's not red-linked, so you can't tell if it exists or not. Some of the categories you have added are not actually categories that exist on this wiki.

Now, if the category doesn't exist, why can't you just create it yourself? Well, you can if there are at least three items that will go in that category. As a rule, we require categories to have at least three items in them except in special cases (and story pages are not special cases).

So if you see a story that has a category like, say, [[Category:Stories set in the 11th century]], but you know the story takes place in 1054, then you would know that there is no category for stories set in 1054, and there won't be unless there are two other stories that take place in that year.

Hi sorry i have not contact you, I've been kind of busy and distracted lately. Anyway the edits i have been doing is removing unrequired "extra space". If you go into edit source you will see what i mean.– The preceding unsigned comment was added by Michael McQuaig (talk • contribs) .

I don't think it's necessary to remove these spaces, but even if you feel the need to do so, I don't know why you have to remove one at a time. Surely it would be easier to do all of them in one edit. Creating so many edits makes the page history unnecessarily long and therefore more difficult to search. Please keep that in mind. Thanks.
