Welcome to the Tardis:About OfficialBBC

Thanks for your edits! We hope you'll keep on editing with us. This is a great time to have joined us, because now you can play the Game of Rassilon with us and win cool stuff! Well, okay, badges. That have no monetary value. And that largely only you can see. But still: they're cool!

We've got a couple of important quirks for a Wikia wiki, so let's get them out of the way first.
British English, please
We generally use British English round these parts, so if you're American, please be sure you set your spell checker to BrEng, and take a gander at our spelling cheat card.
Spoilers aren't cool
We have a strict definition of "spoiler" that you may find a bit unusual. Basically, a spoiler, to us, is anything that comes from a story which has not been released yet. So, even if you've got some info from a BBC press release or official trailer, it basically can't be referenced here. In other words, you gotta wait until the episode has finished its premiere broadcast to start editing about its contents. Please check the spoiler policy for more details.
Other useful stuff
Aside from those two things, we also have some pages that you should probably read when you get a chance, like:

If you're brand new to wiki editing — and we all were, once! —  you probably want to check out these tutorials at Wikipedia, the world's largest wiki:

Remember that you should always sign your comments on talk and vote pages using four tildes like this:

Thanks for becoming a member of the TARDIS crew! If you have any questions, see the Help pages, add a question to one of the Forums or ask on my talk page. Revanvolatrelundar 12:54, April 17, 2014 (UTC)

A couple of things[[edit source]]

Hi! Since you are new to this wiki, I need to point out a couple of things. People tend to have strong opinions on infobox images, so as a wiki we have a policy that if you want to change the current image, you bring up a discussion at the article talk page. If there is agreement, the image will be changed. The discussion you referred to at Talk:Eleventh Doctor was not resolved, as the new image in question had to be deleted for violating our image policies.

I suggest you take a look at a couple of policies: Thread:148148 and T:NO WARS. These will help you in your editing here. Thanks. Shambala108 16:09, April 17, 2014 (UTC)

Please be mindful of our policies[[edit source]]

I already told you once that if you want to add a new image at Eleventh Doctor, you must start a discussion on Talk:Eleventh Doctor. Because the old discussion was not resolved and the image in question has been removed, you would have to start a new discussion. Any further adding of your image without discussion will put you close to violating our policy against edit wars. In addition, you are never to remove someone's comments from your talk page, as stated at Tardis:Vandalism policy. Thanks. Shambala108 18:29, April 17, 2014 (UTC)

Please actually read the vandalism policy, in which it states, and I quote, "Please remember that your talk page (for example, User talk:TimeTraveler) is not "yours". It is not in any way a private messaging space."
I have given you several policies to read. I strongly suggest you read them, to prevent any more issues. For example, the image you added at Idris violates a few of our image policies, which you can find in my earlier message. Also the comment you left at my talk page is teetering on the edge of Tardis:No personal attacks.
Look, I think it's time for you to take a breath and read these policies. We are a very big wiki, over 40,000 pages, covering 50 years worth of DWU stories, spin-offs, related material, etc. We have to have policies to keep the wiki from becoming a mess. If you want to avoid having your edits reverted, then you should make yourself familiar with our policies. Thanks. Shambala108 18:45, April 17, 2014 (UTC)
You are giving the very strong impression that you haven't read any of the policies that I have suggested. We have the policy pages so we don't have to quote the whole thing every time someone has a question. I merely quoted the section in response to your comment that your talk page was your own talk page and that you can do what you want with it. This is something that many new users don't understand, and that's why I quoted that particular bit. Otherwise, it's your responsibility to read the policies and abide by them.
I take the Tardis:No personal attacks policy seriously because this wiki welcomes every user. We don't want to be the kind of site where anonymity allows users to attack others. I didn't say you violated the policy, I said you were coming close and suggested you read the policy to avoid actually violating it.
It's up to you whether you read the policies or not, or whether you abide by them or not. There's not much more I can say to convince you at this point. Shambala108 19:15, April 17, 2014 (UTC)

Block[[edit source]]

You've been blocked for two weeks for continuing to remove comments from your talk page, in violation of Tardis:Vandalism policy, despite being warned, and despite two admins adding the comments back. Shambala108 14:15, April 18, 2014 (UTC)
