Welcome[[edit source]]

Hi, welcome to the wiki! It's great to have new editors. Sorry I had to undo your edits. Since the rollback feature does not give space for comments, I wanted to explain what was wrong. You reassigned a story to another season. That was just wrong. Perhaps, you could explain first what was it that you were trying to improve. It was my experience that many things that might seem arbitrary to a new editor have been carefully thought through. At any rate, please do not hesitate to ask. Amorkuz 19:26, May 18, 2017 (UTC)

Infobox edits[[edit source]]

Hi, I don't know if you've noticed, but two admins regularly undo your edits, most commonly when you add some minor characters as "main enemies" to the infobox. I hoped that you would get the hint without a second reprimand. Then Shambala108 explained the problem in her edit summary. But, alas, the situation is not improving. And you cannot expect two admins to continuously babysit your edits.

One of your latest edits Special:Diff/2410237 modified the line in an infobox that was specifically supplied with the instruction "do not change this" to prevent modifications such as yours. You should start respecting opinions of other editors and stop modifying things that require no modification. To save time of other editors, admins or otherwise, from now on you are prohibited from editing infoboxes. They are typically the most developed part of a page and, hence, the one least requiring improvement. Please find another way of improving the wiki. This decision can be reconsidered when you gain sufficient experience in editing. Amorkuz 19:43, September 14, 2017 (UTC)

You've been blocked for a month for ignoring User:Amorkuz' specific instructions to stay away from editing infoboxes. I suggest you spend the month browsing through random infoboxes to see what we include and don't include, and you might want to take a look at Template:Infobox Story/doc/TV story. But keep in mind that, as Amorkuz says above, the admins must decide before you would be allowed to edit infoboxes again. Shambala108 15:34, September 15, 2017 (UTC)

Because you, on the day your block expired, continued to edit against admin instructions, making several edits in infoboxes when you have been told not to (and all of those edits were incorrect and had to be reverted), you are now blocked for six months for a repeat violation of ignoring admin instructions. Final block[[edit source]]

Alas, it does not seem that you can control your own behaviour. You were asked to stop edit infoboxes because it takes unnecessary time and effort by others to undo the damage resulting from your edits. You ignored the request. When your block expired, you went straight back to wreaking havoc, which resulted in the second, longer block. That should have really been a teachable moment: This wiki has rules. These rules are enforced. Users will not be allowed to do whatever comes to their minds.

The holiday season should be a time of joy. That is why most blocks were lifted in an amnesty. You were given the opportunity to turn the page and start anew. You chose not to. Instead, it appears that you interpreted the amnesty as a licence to do whatever you want. In your editing spree, unchecked because most editors were too excited about the Christmas special and/or avoiding spoilers till they watch it, you not only returned to despoiling infoboxes but graduated to violating other rules. You started moving pages, which goes against Thread:128198. You edited in a story that was decided by the community to be invalid here. And of course you added it into the infobox. Were it your first offence, you would have been issued a stern warning to cool down and start editing with simple stuff, to ask an admin if something is unclear. But you have demonstrated beyond doubt that warnings or even preventive temporary blocks do not have the slightest effect on you. Thus, I'm afraid that we must part ways now. I will clean up the mess you've left. But you will not be able to waste anybody's time on this wiki again. Amorkuz 07:52, December 27, 2017 (UTC)

After finishing the clean-up, I must thank other editors who undid and reverted bad edits of Thomas04. Overall, including myself, at least half a dozen editors, including three other admins, had to contribute their valuable time to fixing the damage. I thank them all.
