Your motive isn't approved[[edit source]]

You're motive of blocking me pernanetly without warning isn't approved by the wikia community: http://community.wikia.com/wiki/Forum:Thomasfan,_please_unblock_me%3F

As a result, you must unblock me from Thomas wikia. Besides, you said you would unblock me, but blocked me permanently instead. That's not appreciated. Skipper101 talk to me 03:16, January 3, 2012 (UTC)

Who I am[[edit source]]

I am your soul, Thomasfan, here to remind you of the bad things you have done; first of all, you blocked a user permanently when you would unblock him two months, but not before extending it. that is wrong. Second of all, you considered something a dead topic. No such thing exists on wikias. Third, you said something was spam, when it was actually the truth. You msut feel sorry for yourself and apologize, or you will go to hell. Thomasfan's Soul talk to me 01:31, January 20, 2012 (UTC)

Temporary block[[edit source]]

Because you guys are using message wall at w:c:ttte, I find it incredibly difficult to track down the source of the dispute between you and user:Skipper101. So I can't really tell who's in the right in that argument. All I know is that neither of you guys have actually contributed anything to our wiki, so blocking both of you would seem to have no impact upon the work of this wiki. Therefore, I'm going to err on the site of caution and block you both, to stop either one of you from furthering your fight on this wiki.

Because you're a fellow admin, however, I'm going to give you the benefit of the considerable doubt, and make your ban last only a week. In order to avoid further blocks, please do not:

You retain the power to leave messages on this page during your block. Please indicate your acceptance of the above two conditions in the space below.

I don't mind the temporary block (even though I don't fully understand it). I will explain what happened though if you'd like. That would, however, break the second of your conditions. Thomasfan Peep! Peep! 16:51, January 20, 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for your reasonable response. The reason for the block on you was just because I was dropped down in the middle of a dispute and had no way to research the origin of the argument due to the damned message wall on your wiki. Though we generally accept the word of admin on other sites, I just wanted to throw cold water on the situation and stop the dispute from escalating on this wiki, since this wiki, and not w:c:ttte, is my primary concern. This gave me time to check with Wikia and confirm that the user had a sock puppet. Now that I've confirmed that, both accounts could be permanently blocked under our rules. With him now blocked, there's no longer a reason for you to be blocked. Thanks for your patience as I worked all this out.

All fair and valid reasons. I would never have even contacted you had I not been followed here. And indeed sock accounts are one of the reasons I had trouble on w:c:ttte. (I hope that's vague enough to not have broken one of the conditions we agreed upon.) Thanks for unblocking me. :) Thomasfan Peep! Peep! 16:58, January 21, 2012 (UTC)

Christmas cheer[[edit source]]

Happy holidays!

As this fiftieth anniversary year comes to a close, we here at Tardis just want to thank you for being a part of our community — even if you haven't edited here in a while. If you have edited with us this year, then thanks for all your hard work.

This year has seen an impressive amount of growth. We've added about 11,000 pages this year, which is frankly incredible for a wiki this big. November was predictably one of the busiest months we've ever had: over 500 unique editors pitched in. It was the highest number of editors in wiki history for a year in which only one programme in the DWU was active. And our viewing stats have been through the roof. We've averaged well over 2 million page views each week for the last two months, with some weeks seeing over 4 million views!

We've received an unprecedented level of support from Wikia Staff, resulting in all sorts of new goodies and productive new relationships. And we've recently decided to lift almost every block we've ever made so as to allow most everyone a second chance to be part of our community.

2014 promises to build on this year's foundations, especially since we've got a full, unbroken series coming up — something that hasn't happened since 2011. We hope you'll stick with us — or return to the Tardis — so that you can be a part of the fun!
