The Víkingrs were a group of Vikings who were given space travel technology in the 10th century by beings resembling the Asgardian gods. The gods viewed this gift as a method of ensuring that Viking traditions could survive. The Víkingrs sailed in bannerships from Earth to Vulcan, where they lived for 1000 years. In an alternate timeline created by the Chronomasticon, the Víkingrs returned to Earth in 1963 and pillaged major cities, including New York City. (PROSE: The Víkingr Mystique)
