Lord Vaarnak was an elderly Martian, and the spokesman for the New Mars refugees on Peladon. According to Lord Axlaar, he was a hero to the Martians and a visionary. He had befriended King Peladon. When he refused allegiance to the New Martian Republic and Grand Marshall Raxlyr and left for Peladon, he had dishonoured his kin. He was killed by Lord Axlaar. (AUDIO: The Prisoner of Peladon)
