Van Baalen Bros.
Van Baalen Bros. was a salvage company that operated in open space. Originally captained by a father, the company was run by his sons after his death. Initially, the father's chosen successor for captain was Tricky Van Baalen, but an accident caused him to lose his memory. The two remaining brothers, Gregor and Bram, then assumed command and convinced Tricky that he was an android and therefore not a Van Baalen brother.
One day, the firm came across the TARDIS and used their magno-grab to haul it in as salvage. They then became embroiled in an adventure inside the TARDIS which led to the practical death of the company — until the Eleventh Doctor found a way to avert the timeline in which all three Van Baalen brothers died. In the new timeline, the company's computers briefly registered the presence of the TARDIS flying by before it vanished from their sensors. Additionally, the new timeline appeared to feature a Gregor who recognised Tricky as a brother.
