The Vandals were, according to Barbara Wright, an "old Earth" tribe. (AUDIO: The Unwinding World) Their name formed the basis of the word vandalism. The Third Doctor considered this to be unfair as they were "quite decent chaps". (TV: Invasion of the Dinosaurs) At one point, they conquered Ravenna. (PROSE: Goths and Robbers)
