Vara was a planet hosting a Dalek slave camp. Its atmosphere contained poor oxygen, so it was the right environment for the recruitment of humans who, because of the lack of oxygen in their nervous system, were more vulnerable to be enslaved and transformed to Dalek humanoids. In the late 40th century, Sara Kingdom of the Space Security Service was sent to Vara to rescue Professor Lomberg; eventually, she managed to blow up the Dalek camp. (COMIC: Space Security Agent)
