King Vashko was the monarch on Thellian. When a Dalek duplicate of Vashko arrived, three months before the Eighth Doctor's own crash landing, the Dalek agent killed the real Vashko, and pretended to be him in order to advance the Daleks' plans. (AUDIO: Fugitive in Time)
