Viceroy of Poland was a title given to the governor of Poland when it was part of the Russian Empire.

At some point in the 19th century, Poland was governed by a viceroy who was known, among other things, for his liaisons with Lola Montez. (PROSE: Whiskey and Water)

The Kingdom of Poland was part of the Russian Empire between 1815 and 1874, and the Viceroy, or Namiestnik, was the deputy of the King of Poland, which at that point was a title of the Russian tsar. The Viceroy mentioned in Whiskey and Water was not identified by name.
