A waitress worked at a café where Vincent van Gogh frequently went. When the Eleventh Doctor inquired after van Gogh at the café, she told him that van Gogh was "mad, drunk and never paid the bills". When the Doctor said that he was a good painter, she and the other waitress laughed at him. (TV: Vincent and the Doctor)
