Wester was one of the invisible humanoid natives of Spiridon.
He saved Jo Grant from a fungoid infection which she had contracted. Later, he sacrificed himself to prevent the Daleks from releasing the deadly virus they had created, becoming visible as he died. (TV: Planet of the Daleks)
