William Deverington lived in Sommerton Manor with his wife, Eudora. Their son George was killed in the Crimean War. In 1864, Eudora invited medium Mr Wrighton to conduct a séance so she could speak to her son. The séance was interrupted by the Third Doctor and Casimer appearing. (PROSE: The Sommerton Fetch)
