A woman police constable arrested Mark Goodson after he forced himself into her car for protection from the fairies; she thought he had simply gone mad, but obliged when he revealed his preference for children. Later that night, she and another police officer heard screams coming from Goodson's cell. When they went to investigate, they discovered him dead. Upon discovering rose petals in his throat, which he had claimed to have been choked with previously, the two officers summoned Torchwood. (TV: Small Worlds)
