Suffragette
The suffragettes were a British movement in the early 20th century which campaigned for women's rights, particularly the right to vote.

In 1906, the First Doctor and Steven Taylor worked with the Suffragette Ruby Watkins to stop a group of aliens from interfering in Earth history. The three later stumbled across a Suffragette protest which Ruby had been planning to attend before she'd become entangled in the alien plot.
