Wooley (Number 1, Gallows Gate Road)

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

Major Wooley was a man of the 20th century. He received many medals for his achievements in the First World War.

However, when he moved to No.1 Gallows Gate Road he suddenly thought that he was a coward and couldn't fight anymore, even though he would have liked to stop Hitler.

It turned out that there was an alien hiding inside an oak tree next to the house. It took Major Wooley's willpower to sign up for war again.

The only resident of the house who was not affected by the alien was Robert Mann. Robert still hadn't decided what he wanted to be in life so the alien had no ambition to feed on. The Tenth Doctor told Robert that Robert was the only one who could cut down the tree. Robert did it and the other residents got back their ambition. Major Wooley decided he wanted to sign up again and thought that they might have a job for him even if it was at the Home Guard. (PROSE: Number 1, Gallows Gate Road)
