Wopan was the oldest living Therovian at the time that a disease began afflicting his people.
He discovered that a cure for an earlier plague had been found on Ixon and directed Grig, the First Doctor, John and Gillian to that planet when he returned to Theros with his new friends. (COMIC: The Therovian Quest)
