The Cybus website had articles on it, such as John Lumic - Some thoughts from our CEO, (PROSE: Lumic) and it also had advertisments for Vitex and the Cybus Fitness website. (GAME: Vitex, Cybus Spy) It also had a page about "family". (GAME: Cybus Spy)

The readers of Defending the Earth! from the Doctor's universe were sent by "ChatGuest1" to the Cybus website to look for the code to take down Cybus Industries. The readers firstly investigated the page about Vitex, although they left the Cybus website when they followed the advert to the Cybus Fitness website. They later returned to the Cybus website, after discovering the password "Gemini12" on the Millingdale website, eventually going to the the page about family from advice given by a friend, accessing the Cybus Industries Staff Intranet and inputting the code; in return, they got the "binary9" code. The Cybus tie-in website was a real website made by the BBC to coincide with the broadcast of Rise of the Cybermen, that featured lots of new fictional content, including a lot of which tied into the Cybus Spy alternate reality game.
