Yama-10 was a planet with no native civilisation. It was inhabited by primitive species, including one with poisonous fangs. It had traces of trisilicate.
After detecting trisilicate on the planet Yama-10, a survey team of Ice Warriors landed and began to clear the ground for mining. A group of Cybermen and Cybermats also arrived and claimed the planet, coming into conflict with the Ice Warriors. They took their battle to the Polar Caps, where both sides were more equally matched. Ultimately, the Polar Caps melted and the Cybermen were destroyed by the melted ice, while the Ice Warriors were entombed in the ice — at least until the spring thaw. (COMIC: Deathworld)
