Yellow City was a detective novel written by Rex Butcher.
The Seventh Doctor told Butcher he had especially enjoyed it, saying it was gripping and was a devastating portrait of labour relations in the United States. He also found the depiction of the disagreements within the Wobblies splendid. (PROSE: Atom Bomb Blues)
