Zardox Break was the first story in the Bernice Summerfield anthology A Life in Pieces. It was written by Dave Stone.

Bernice Summerfield and Jason Kane take a vacation to Zardox, where Jason is a known celebrity. They are asked to take place in a documentary, which is in fact a reality TV show, Celebrity Split. After a series of events they eventually appear in a movie.
